Please be advised that if you are intending to audition for Hartwell Players
this Sunday at 2pm the audition venue has been shifted from the Ashwood
College Hall, to the Ashwood College "Green Room." The venue will be
signposted on Vannam Drive, so look out for the Hartwell banner on the
fence. Apologies for any confusion.

Melbourne's Hartwell Players' latest production, the one-act play show,
Perceptions, is scheduled to run August 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 at Ashwood College,
then go to festivals in Ballarat (August 18-19) and Anglesea (August 25-26).
One of the plays is "Yes and No" by Graham Greene, which unfortunately was
not cast at a recent audition. Hartwell is looking for two male actors (one
in his 20s, the other in his 40s-50s). Director Peter Paige has considered
casting two women, but feels there would be too much violence done to the
piece and would ultimately prefer casting two men.

The play is a very funny character study of a very affected, pompous
director "directing" a terrified young actor in how to say his lines, which
are either "yes" or "no."

If you are interested, or you can think of anyone who might be interested
could you please contact the Director, Peter Paige, on (03) 9857 7008 or via
email at ***@gmail.com.
