Perceptions continues Hartwell's long and distinguished tradition of one-act
plays, a tradition
that has seen the company do extremely well on the one-act play festival
circuit.

Perceptions should be no different.

As producer Michael Olsen sees it: "This show will change your perceptions,
the way you look at the ordinary world. Just when you thought you knew
everything
about the Kelly Gang, or the Second Coming, this show will turn it all
upside-down for you."

Hartwell calls all interested actors to audition on Sunday May 27 at 2pm
at the Ashwood College Hall, Vannam Drive in Ashwood.
There are four different plays, offering a range of roles:

Lord of the Fleas by Colin Donald, directed by Kara Stacey-Merrin
(Youth production)
--Encino Man meets Melbourne 2007
Cast required: 9 actors, male and female (age range: 16 years and up), plus
ensemble

Yes & No by Graham Greene, directed by Peter Paige
--How a director directs an actor whose only lines are "yes" and "no."
Cast required: Two actors, male or female (age range: any adult age)

Flash Boy by Felicité Keeble, directed by Kate Deavin
--The betrayal of the Kelly Gang through the eyes of Adam Sherritt
Cast required: 2 males (age range: 24 - 30/40), 2 females (age range: 16 -
40s).

Cleanskin by Michael Olsen, directed by Liz Lyons
--Two women face the Second Coming - but the Second Coming also faces them!
Cast required: Two women (age range: 25 - 40)

For further inquiries call Michael on 03 9435 0443.
